Description
Erik, the Phantom of the Opera. highly following his appearance on the book. You know, that window is not showing some exterior, is showing his terrible hot torture chamber.Related content

i dont know why, but he reminds me of a ghoul from Fallout universe. Its kinda funny if you think about, with the voice, so he expresses it through music or whatnot. Never read the book, so forgive me if it doesnt make any sense on this. Love the work non-the-less!

I wonder if, when Gaston Leroux created Erik, if he knew that instead of creating a horrific outcast, he was creating the archetype 'loner' that women would swoon over for the next two centuries?Β Even with his face deformed in your picture, he's still extremely attractive. You have him magnificently attired (which is how he dressed in the book) and even his stance is that of one still standing despite all his misfortune.Β The twist in him in your drawing is in his eye, the back drop of his famed torture chamber.Β Small wonder fan girls swoon over him.Β Nicely done.

well, it seems for the book, even if Leroux was creating an horrific sociopath outcast, he was also trying to make him as attractive as possible (passionate, genius, artist, composer, skilled, etc) regardless of his appearance, so you can feel empathy for him.. Β Poor Erik.Β And thanks! i was trying to be as faithful as i can with him.
