dude, who cares what all these stoopis people are saying, they're just pissed that they didnt make a great a scene like this and get a DD, thats all. I get stuff like that....not that I make great scenes or get DD, or that people are jealous of my abilities.....but I do get people being hoes when commenting on my stuff. Just forget them and keep making cool stuff, and when you get all rich and stuff, you can laugh your way to the bank.
Just one little thing, I sort of agree with whoever suggested changing the angle. I sort of think its a little.....too far away from where the action is taking place maybe? I dont know much about this sort of thing. But I sort of think an angle from like over the knights shoulder with him pointing his sword straight out at the dragon would just look so badass.
And another thing- everyone knows the knight is gonna totally kick that dragons ass. Otherwise, he wouldnt be up on that huge fuckin mountian.

I think it really doenst matter whether you made the meshes or not. It takes great skill to bring them together in the way that you did. The atmosphere is amazing, I particularly like the atmospheric effects.

its excellent, and as for that blurry sky thing remark earlier by someone I scarcely remember now: I think the clouds make it more dark... and a sun would boil the knight.. and tehre would be no fight... the dragon (if its a typical one, caus I dont know much about dragons HONESTLY) will take care of the heat...

Beautiful dragon pic. The pose of the dragon reminds me of one of my ferrets when she's defending herself from, well, from anything. Whoever's models you used, I still think its a marvelous picture, full of tension and menace. Excellent work! Do some more!

Fire Breather + Shiney Metal Armor = fried man-meat...
The texturing of the dragon model is top notch, although I think the head texturing doesn't really look as good as the body.
Also the knight is great
As far as the other subject goes... I don't think that most people on here really had a problem with anything you did except not mentioning that the models weren't yours. (and a mention of where you got them never hurts either - and is sometimes required).

Hey man, this is a top 10 render. I'm new to poder and bryce and the like. You are doing great. I know that the models used were designed specifically for people like us to use in their artwork, and they are a cool tool. Dont let any asshole tell you that your work aint original enough. I don't deny that a lot of work went into this, but how can anyone go on praising this 3d piece when the models they've used aren't the artists? when you submit something, logically everything in the image is yours unless stated otherwise... but people leave these things out and it becomes misleading... I don't mean to offend, I respect everything you did in this, it turned out very well, but without meantion of credit where credit's due, we're lead to believe that everything was yours from scratch... you're only hurting yourself and everyone else when you do this, artist start to not be able to trust one another... You've been in the top favorites for what, 2 days now almost? and especially there people look at it amazed and think wow he's good without knowing it's not all yours..
well, they know now at least... it could have been done easier though

for the sake of constructive critisizem...all i can suggest is tint the underside of the dragon's wing a dark red....(IMHO) and add some sky effects ( maybe layer the clouds a bit more)...other than that perfect....
for some compliments..the wind/fog effect is amazing the knight looks almost life like....and its all perfectly thought out and planned...
i gotsa question...how many polygons is in this thing cause it's gotta be a hellofa lot INSTANT FAV!

I think this image could be better.
Move the camera angle to either behind the knight or behind the dragon so the viewer gets the perspective of either creature.
Also, give the image some contrast; its too gray.
Definately try a more dramatic camera angle, though. I guarantee it will make this already nice work even nicer.

Aii dude, sorry i had to let loose there.... although the image is not the style that i like all that much i still think its a kik ass image, the structure and feelings in the design is incredible... i like the way the characters stand out from the scenery yet the scenery is creating the cold atmosphere... keep up the good work and dont let n e one give you shit, thats one thing ive learnt in life and i dont want n e one else to get it either!
