yokohama the first time and tokyo the second. but no real chance for sightseeing as our program was pretty tight (it was a go championship).

GO championship - go is an ancient board game originally from china and then adopted by japanese. it's a thinking game, like chess, only more complex as it involves more tactics and strategy (it's even older than chess). in japanese it's called IGO, weichi in chinese, baduk in korean

if you wanna know more about it, there's an internet go server - IGS , where you can learn the game nad play with people from all around the world.
it also has many useful links (they even an art gallery!) - one of them how to play go
