Well, I always wondered, where are their parents, whet I watched that show all the time. But who knows?

They died in a car crash. Max was in the car at the time, and he has permanent brain damage, which is why he's always messing up. Max is also mute because the grandmother molested him at a young age and he's extremely traumatized. Ruby is the mother figure and has to take care of him.

As a little child, I always wondered what happened. Was Ruby old enough to live on their own? Did an alien take over the world? No one knows

I always used to think they were at work and since their grandma lives close by they stay at home.

OKAY, so the story is.. Max and Ruby's parents are alcoholics. They are always leaving for parties and to clubs, leaving the grandma to check up on them every once and a while. The parents never take care of their kids, but still pay the bills and such, but are never their to watch the kids. Leaving them both pretty much on their own... That's all. :3Β

Some say that there parents died in a car crash while picking up Ruby from bunny scouts O.O Max was in the car with them but survived the car crash messed up his brain or some shiz like that... Max plays with his ambulence and cars because thats what he remembers from the crash.... O,O
