We had a recent bout of snowfall here over the last day or two. It's kind of a novelty in England, so everyone seems to go mental for a few days. It's not even good snow, it's just powdery mush. I don't see what all the fuss is about.Related content

You should be in southern California when it snows. Usually we have to go up to the mountains to find snow. If some some bizarre reason there's anything remotely resembling snow down in the valleys, like hail or something, that's literally got at least ten minutes on prime time news. The general reaction to anything like that is "Holy shit HERE?! WHERE I MUST GO NOW AND SEE THIS HISTORIC EVENT"

I firmly believe that Winter should be made illegal. It's cold, wet and stupid. Nothing good about it that wouldn't work better in a different season.

You and me both. Just found out my part of the state is supposed to get six to twelve inches of snow. (15-30 centimeters for the metric system. Still suck on standard over here, so I'm probably wrong.) So yeah, more snow. UGH!
