HiThis is Lightning that im working on... Previously i was drawing Kanda and Allen. But i wanted to do something new so i side track to do Lightning instead..
I try to make her sexy and beautiful. I think she look quite nice but not that recognisable.... I draw her with flying hair and try to show a different side of her...
This was done in MAC photoshop but the colour look weird on my window pc so i edit the colour. My mac colour display is weird...
Pls note this is still incomplete. More like a preview pic. Right now im struck with the outfit that have so many details... I dont like to draw detail art but i have to push myself for it.....

I plan to draw more Final Fantasy Girls... All of them are so beautiful.. THink the next one i shall attempt will be Rinoa cos she is the most beautiful in my heart....

Lucky there's not too mcuh difference in the faces between Final Fantasy guys and girls, so if you can draw the guys - the girls should be no problem
Lightning always makes me think of a female Cloud

I don't mena this one in particular looks like a female Cloud, I mean I - and many others think the Lightning originally looked like a girl-Cloud in the first place

I think the reason of not recognizable because you made her left side hair shorter. Based on my hair observation on real Lightning CG are longer which over her shoulder (even if blown by the wind, it should show her longish hair). Anyway try to draw her ear as well rather than covered by the hair.

Thanks!! I will consider about the ear thing. I actually wanted to draw it in. I know it will make her look more like lightning but it will diminish the flying hair effect...

No problem. Yeah, you can't actually make much flying hair effect with Final Fantasy character since their hairstyle played essential role for easy for recognition. If you see the CG, no matter how strong the wind was, it will still stay at one place and somehow never get messy.

ya. I was struggling whether to make it more like the actual character look or let it remain as what i draw right now. I decided to give her a different look cos that is what i hope she will look like.
