Description
A ponified version of the V for Vendetta poster. I made the design in Illustrator from one of the V for Vendetta's movie's posters and did the poster background and overlay effects in Photoshop.This is just me poking fun at how some people portray Celestia as a tyrant. It's not like that I'm implying that Celestia infected her sister with the evil of Nightmare Moon, just so she could have an excuse to banish poor Luna.
It's not like that she could then rule over all of Equestria with unrivaled power forcing everypony to worship her if they ever wanted to see the sun rise again, and then pretty much getting rid of almost all of the evidence that her sister even existed knocking her down to a fairy tale/ warning to anypony who would defy her absolute rule.
Support the true princess of Equestia and not the Tyrant Queen who stole her sister's title, power, freedom, and screen time! VIVA THE LUNAR REVOLUTION! Let us go towards the New Lunar Repubic!!!
... yeah, not implying anything there at all.

In the government building in Manehattan, the current seat of the Imperial throne--which formerly resided in Old Canterlot--there is a wall in the main lobby that bears five stone tablets underneath an engraving which reads "OBEY CELESTIA'S LAWS OF HARMONY OR SUFFER THE FATE OF A TRAITOR". The five laws themselves read as follows:
CELESTIA'S LAW OF HONESTY--Thou shalt not lie or thou shalt lose thy tongue.
CELESTIA'S LAW OF KINDNESS--Thou shalt help those in need or thou shalt suffer the same need.
CELESTIA'S LAW OF LAUGHTER--Thou shalt smile in the presence of the princess or thou shalt have a smile cut into their face.
CELESTIA'S LAW OF GENEROSITY--Thou shalt donate half thy income to charity or thou shalt have no income.
CELESTIA'S LAW OF LOYALTY--Thou shalt enforce the Laws of Harmony or thou shalt die as a heretic.

Man, I'd love to see an MLP storyline that showed that the elements are capable of being misused. As Ultima 5 taught us, forcing people to follow a set of virtues to the letter doesn't automatically make them good people. ^_^

No, that's completely wrong.
Luna was corrupted into Nightmare Moon by an outside influence, and abandoned the elements of harmony. She opposed the elements after going evil, and that is not what I'm talking about at all.
I'm talking about a situation where somepony actively believes in the elements of harmony, but their fanatical devotion to the exact letter of the element's virtues leads them to wield the elements in a harmful manner. They believe in the elements with such single-minded zealotry that they think that anypony who deviates even slightly from the elements' teachings must be committing an act of evil. They can still wield the elements since they still believe in them, but their knight templar-like attitude causes the elements to react irregularly.

well the thing is the elements are more like parts of friendship so its kinda hard to be knight templar with hanging out with people...

That's the idea. They'd technically be following the elements, but in reality they'd be missing the entire point of the elements. My theory is that if a pony (or any other creature, for that matter) did manage to harness the elements in such a knight templar-ish way, the first five elements would behave erratically and destructively, and the element of magic would outright refuse to function since the other elements aren't being used to foster friendship.

I dunno, that theory really doesn't do it for me. I'm really not convinced that Nightmare Moon could have actually used the elements at any given point. Like I said, Nightmare Moon opposed the elements. She was cruel, deceitful, greedy, traitorous, and... okay, she did laugh, but it wasn't even close to the mirthful laughter associated with the elements.

Princess Celestia has kept balance between the Sun and the Moon for many years, while everypony in Equestria has lived in peace.
