Description
Here is the final work that I have done on the Aurora's texture for SGI. The model was built byΒ R1ser Β and it is a glorious model. I am glad to have had the chance to finish the texture for it.Related content

This looks very nice.
Would it be alright with you and R1ser if i used this as schematics for my own attempt at an aurora model? Good quality orthographic views of stargate ships (that show more than one angle) are hard to come by, especially for lantean ships. I'm working on a species mod for Stellaris, just working on the traits at the moment.

Would it be alright with you (and R1ser) if i used this as schematics for my own attempt at the Aurora model? I've just started a species pack mod for stellaris (working on the traits at the moment), and good quality schematics for ancient ships are hard to find (that show them from from orthographic views, anyway)
Although the last time i tried using the maya stellaris exporter i got...mixed results. Exporting models to stellaris can be....difficult.

I understand what you are saying, but personally... I love it without all the red. I tried it with, and I have to say that I did not care for it.

I have to confess that it looks awesome the way it is but a version I would like to see is like the one where it has the blast scars and the rusting red paint from the show but it in its grey shell looks just as good
Also what's your opinion of a Stargate/Halo Mash-up mod?

well that is the thing... it isn't an ancient ship that will have been floating around for awhile, it is meant to be straight off the assembly line.
As to the Stargate/Halo mashup... if done correctly, maybe. But I personally believe that it is apples and oranges. Just like star wars vs star trek mods.

Fair enough
Also its meant to expand Stargate and to be funer we are currently doing a scenario on it and I'm looking for more people are you interested?
