The second adopt from my Christmas auction for charity! (And just in time to still be uploaded for Christmas!)
I tried to design a character that was "Christmassy" yet original, and could still potentially be used year round, so after some experimenting, I was inspired by the Nutcracker Christmas Ballet!
Her name comes from the combination of the words "Clara" and "Arabesque"; Clara being the name of the main character from the ballet, and Arabesque being an iconic ballet move.
Clara is the star of The Nutcracker on Bridleway! She rehearses year round, and steals the show November through December, but no one is more supportive than her number one fan (and very special somepony <3), Spirit !

She's probably my favorite adopt that I've designed! Even with the Christmas theme, I tried to make an adopt that wasn't JUST Christmassy looking, and I thought the the Nutcracker ballet would be a fun inspiration!

No, seriously, this OC is epic. The design is stunning as those christmassy slippers just pop out from the white-blonde, yet the red ribbon and the green eyes still keep it in balance. The name is fancy and elelgant, and above all original, not to mention being a ballerina, which is amazing and unique.

I hadn't really explored her that far. I generally leave the personality and the backstory up to the new owner unless there was a concept that was just too awesome that I'd thought about.
