Description Third adopt from my charity auction!Β I'm a Classics major, so I HAD to offer a Greek themed egg! ^^ I had a lot of fun designing the adopt, too! I went a little crazy with details


Starlight Gaze is an appaloosa astronomer by request. Her cutie mark is an abstract interpretation of the astrolabe--one of the first tools used to study the stars in the ancient world!

Haha! I found it difficult to give a pony white hair but still keep her young looking. I was happy with the result!

Oh she was supposed to be young looking. Like adult young or teenager young? I certainly didn't see her old. She still looks and love the Greek features. Lauren Faust got a lot of ideas for MLP generation 4 from Greek mythology. So she's excellent.

Ah. I thought so. Just after you said you wanted to make her young, that got me thinking otherwise. That's cool. Hope it goes well with your major. What do you think in your opinion should there be for mythological creatures to be added into the show? In my opinion, I feel like there should be werewolves. Since I read in Greek Mythology where a human was jealous of the Gods in Olympia, so he wanted trick Zeus. He invited Zeus to come to his home and eat a meal (which in the meat was human meat). Zeus was pissed off at this disgrace, but the guy named (lyca I believe) escaped and began running away. Zeus chased him down while shooting lighting bolts at him until he changed Lyca into a wolf like creature. Lyca felt pain and agony and Zeus was laughing and was glad to see justice was made. Since Lyca gave served human meat, Zeus thought why not make him into a creature who eats meat. LikeΒ a wolf. (Not sure why not any other creature but okay). But jokes on Zeus cuz Lyca enjoyed the strength and power and chose to rampage on the village killing goats, sheep, and humans. The villagers got angry with Lyca and decided to take action and sent Lyca to Tartarus. Thus the name comes in Lycanthropy. Maybe there should be underwater creatures like the kraken, but how many times do any pony go to the ocean. So I don't know. There's already some fantastic creatures in the show. Though the Chimara was, ehhh. I love the Tiger, but the snake and the goat kinda ruin the character a bit.

I really think they might bring back seaponies. They seemed to be really excited about incorporating G1 stuff this season, so I'm hopeful! No cheesy song, though... please...
