Description
This is my entry for 's contest! She asked us to make one of her charries into a carousel horse, like some of those she'd been doing! I sooo had to enter! I chose Alonso, he's such a lovely stally, I've always wanted to draw him! He was oodles of fun to draw too! I spent quite a lot of time looking at different sites that had carousel animals and horses, trying to get ideas for his tack and so on! So, he's gone all green, very naturistic! I think it suits him! I just hated putting that pole there! But doing this reminded me of Mary Poppins, where they go on a carousel and the horses break free. So, I figured Alonso would prefer to be free! I did just about everything on this on my own, the pose, the tack, the only things that I didn't do are the trees, grass and swirly patterns on the tack.
