Beaded Carousel, mostly complete. It's been sitting on my pile of unfinished projects for about three years because I haven't been able to find horse/animal beads that I like in the right size. I just got fed up and finally decided to give up on waiting and attach the top to the bottom.I eventually plan to finish this, but not for a while. I'll add animals like on a real carousel, stairs, and probably some more embellishments around the bottom.
Size: ~3 inches/8.5 cm tall and ~2.5 inches / 6cm wide.
Time: Three years
Materials: Size 11/0 Delicas, 6lb test Fireline, fringe beads, size 8/0 seed beads, and one cubic zirconia drop for the top.

Thank you! I don't actually have any notes because I made this one so long ago, but basically I just used a hexagonal peyote pattern out, a few rows up, and then in and up again before going out to attach to the top, which I made as a separate piece.

Even unfinished this is just the cutest thing! If I had something like that sitting on my workdesk it would probably cheer me up several times a day so please finish this someday so that it will be even more awesome.
