Description
Mother and son, together. I realized about 3/4 through stitching the teapot that my colour choices greatly resembled Mrs. Potts from Disney's Beauty and the Beast and so I modified the rest of the pattern to fit. Chip I modified from my own teacup pattern.Made from size 11/0 Delicas, 4lb test Fireline, and a few triangle beads for the Mrs.

Teacup pattern is my own.

Hi,
the little teapot and the cup really remembered me to "Beauty & the Beast", even before I red your description. ^^
Once again, you created a masterpiece of bead work. ^^b
I'm "only" crafting animals or flowers with beads and the are unprodvided for standing by themselves because they are hanging from nylon threads like a marionette.
So much the more I appreciate your figures because they are able to stand without any wires or the like. A long time ago I saw someone who put needles in the figures but I suppose you didn't do it.
Would you be so kind as to reveal how you make them standing?
Best regards,
Ann

The standing part is built into the design itself. I use increasing flat peyote stitch to form a base (e.g., the little purple/gold ring around the bottom of "Chip") and then I bead upward in tubular peyote, increasing or decreasing as necessary to get the shape I want.
Most of my techniques are adapted from Julia S. Pretl's book Little Bead Boxes, since that's what I started out with.

Thank you very much for your advice! ^^
If my photographer send me the pictures of my animals I will also present them on deviantart.
