Description Yep - Its done )

Cinema 4D - 510k~ polygons - Which mainly went into the overly detailed weapon platforms which are now not even 30 px large

This is the view i originally planned this entire model around - nothing was modeled which you can't see

Also this is un-edited - i may do a scene version after some pause

Amazing ship man.
The ship has some sort of toon shader?

Indeed, standard c4d cel shader in post and some photoshop to make it less.. eh, edgy

O_O

Impressive and exceptional! 510.000 polygons? This is amazing!

Is Cinema 4D compatible with Max, Blender and other similar programs? If so, I'd like you to contribute as a modeller to the development of this game: [link] What do you think?

BLOODY F*KING HELL!!! >_<

This whole time I've been using that Passanger Transport as a referance/comparison of the details I should be doing to the hull, and then I find this -_- Ereaser, I hate you and love you at the same time, this is confusing :-p

More dummy questions

1. How long did this take you?

2. How do you make those missle launchers?
Do just use a sphere as the nose of the missle?
How do you array/duplicate the missles in that order?

1) 3 days ,p

2) Copy and past and manual movement (while holding shift) - can't remember how exactly i made the missiles but when things are round is usually best to start with cylinders , the rest is boole

dude you should do a Battle scene with this.
all weapons FIRE!!!!!! hahaha

eRe4s3r In reply to djomally [2009-05-20 20:24:55 +0000 UTC]

I think that would over-glow the scene, just imagine 500 missiles and all weapons firing plasma glowing stuff and the main guns ....

And explosions.. ehm... NO
