Description
Here I go, with newer operating system and refreshed scanner settings..."City and Wind" is a wonderful, magic novel by Anastacia Parfionova. It tells about an enchanted city, where a couple of main heroes live. She is old, she is courageous, she used to fly, but her wings were cruelly cut. He is stubborn, he is a warlock of wind power, he used to be a lord, but once he was poisoned by his own mates and left for dead without even being able to walk. Both of them are exiled and full of pain, but there's also the main passion except love, that unites them...
WIND.
The memories of wingless bird, the power of cruel magic... I desperately wish this would be someday translated in English. I couldn't leave this piece of pure literature alchemy without my own image of these heroes.
Materials - tempera (polivynilacetate) & water-colour on thick paper, actual size - about 40 x 55 cm.
Hope you enjoy...

Thank you so much!)))
You know... I was deeply impressed by this book: I like to re-read it sometimes. I cannot even tell, if the ending actually happy or not - the beauty of this novel is in its being deliciously complex.))

"...it's always nice to revisit that world..."
You speak my words.)
That is exactly what I usually tell my mates, when they ask for my reasons for re-reading something.)))

Lol I even have some younger person reading material I re read from time to time, just due to the nostalgic feeling i have for it I find it so hard to believe not everyone loves literature as much as i do! (including my husband >_>
