I HERD U LIEK THEM ON UR HED.Crochet and a little embroidery.
I'm sorry darlings, but there's no pattern. I would give it to you if I had one, but I don't. It's all simple shapes and I have the utmost faith in your ability to figure out how it all goes together. Look at the comments section for tips.

I would give it to you if there was one! If you want to make your own, it's not hard--everything is single crochet and made up of basic shapes. If you do make your own, please link back to me so I can see it!

You have to start with a semi-circle and then crochet three little triangles. I think I did them individually, going back and forth to make a rough triangle and then doing one final row over all of them. It's a funky shape but it's really quite easy when you break it down into smaller shapes!

No, sorry, I never bother writing out patterns. It's all made out of simple shapes though, and all single crochet; it's basically a normal hat with lots of shapes stuck to it. For example, the flippers are just a circle for the ear flapp-y part, and then the part that sticks out is a half-circle with three triangles crocheted on. Good luck if you decide to make your own mudkip

i just crocheted them at a very tight gauge, so they're very stiff on their own, but a fabric stiffener might work just as well or better.

Hmm, ok, but what about the orange ones? They look like Double Crochet, or am i mistaken? This is so epic! May i uses this as inspiration for my Mudkip hat?

No, everything is single crochet; the orange ones just looks different because they are not crocheted in the round. And of course you can, if you do make one please send me the link so I can see it!

Lol that's really cool ^^ Painfully reminds me that I have to sew myself a Chtulhu hat if I don't want to freeze my ears off in winter...
