This clock is a one-off. It will be the only one created of this design.
Wrapping around the dial is lettering that “floats” inside of a channel. All of the brass forms were cut from thick plate by hand with a jewelers saw, and then ground to the final sculpted shape. A selenious acid patina was applied to darken and age the surface, and also add depth.
