Description
Originally this was a design that my good friend Bob Nixon and I worked on as a promotional poster for the huge steampunk exhibition at Oxford University. For branding reasons, it wasn't used as such, but it will now be used as the cover for the program guide.

The title lettering was done in illustrator by Nix, and I added the decorative curls. Then the whole thing was printed out 15 inches wide, and cut out of brass. This was then shot high-res on a white background, and he composited it onto a photo of the fittingly old victorian wallpaper. Then the rest of the copy was nicely integrated via his always professional design skills (seriously, it's dizzying watching Nix work these programs).

A true collaboration that cost us both some sleep.
