Description
Here's a piece I've been working on for a while now. For those of you that have a keen and imaginative eye tell me if you can see the hidden image in this one...Journyed this path for too long and i've come too far
Obstacles in my way are not easily overlooked
Seduced by my demons they make me want to turn away
However much i wish things didn't have to be this way
Unkind as it is i understand the answers will come in time
And when they do i'll still be here waiting for you

I love the sheer amount of detail in the work. It also brings me back to my child hood growing up with these kinds of illustrations!

Love the vibrant sunset orange! Love the pose too, the arm resting on the knee in such a carefree way suggest he's gone threw a lot and came out the other side wiser for the experience. Nice work!

This is beautiful. I love the wonderful range colours and textures that you've managed to incorporate, especially in the foreground. However, I do think that you could have spent a little more time on the sea to make it look less like orangeade and more like... well... sea. Unless it's sky...?
I don't know. I'm not really one to criticise, so I'll just say 'well done' and leave it at that.
PS: The boy looks a little bit like Jet from AtLA... Coincidence?

It's a common misconception that the background is an ocean and not a sky. But, if you think about it the perspective would e warped if the ocean was at that angle and the ship in the background would have a submerged hull instead of a visible hull. If I ever re-visit this (it's 7 years old now) I would definitely have a fresher and more detailed take on it

Beautiful.
I see an older woman in a hat (almost witchy like), and the branch the boy is sitting on is her arm and hand. It's as though the mother is holding him out to the world saying 'Go'.

This looks good enough to be on a book cover.
If this was on a book cover, I would read the book. It is interesting and fantastic.

Wow your picture is really good. When you know that ther's a hidden image, you can see it right away in the background. But if you don't know that it stays hidden. I once drew a picture like that. It's a flower that isn't really a flower. I'll upload it right away.
I' m also wondering how you drew it. I guess you used copics and something like photoshop.

Ooooh, I like this. Is the hidden image the arm and the branch making a sort of cat's eye (cos the pupil's up and down). Cos that's what I see. But just watch, it'll turn out to be something completely different, haha
Anyway. Great piece.
