The darkness that is your life...
are the shadows the veil your sight.
The sun that finds no way in,
has you living in the abscence of light.
It's odd to wonder how this all began,
odd how you feel so forsaken.
You pray every night the light can find its way,
but the rage is consuming you from within,
and her memory haunts you every day.
it drives you so hard to hide behind the pain
She lingers on your mind
it's the hate that never seems to fade...
You love her,
You hate her,
'...I can't live without her...'
Screams are so loud but she can't hear.
You've pushed her so far away.
Why does it have to be this way?
Your ability to love is so, so far gone,
It's so easy to be afraid,
and hide away from your fears.
Maybe it's time to look beyond,
push away the hate,
and once again embrace her golden light

This is a wonderfull image. There is so much detail. I like the creature inthe middle, but I think that the creature could be stand out a bit more. I really like it.

I like the design and flow of this pic. But I don't know whether the flatness of the figure in the blue portion is purposely like that or not. Other than that its a great pic. It looks like something that you would find on a wall. Though with the blue amulet like fixture it works a little less. And the setting becomes unclear. I don't know if that made any sense. I just think it's cool.

I used photoshop for the colors and good old fashioned pencils and imagination for the sketch and concept...throw in waaaaaay too many hours of slaving away at it and BAM this is it.
