A relatively light weight and fragile monster, this creature's raw physical destructive power is not very high among the ranks of kaiju. There are more a few more ways to be dangerous though.
An arsenic based life form, physical contact with it or any body parts or excretions it leaves behind can be extremely hazardous to the health of earthly life. Even the pheromones it excretes into the air can have deleterious effects with enough exposure. In the case of humans it tends to throw brain chemistry off kilter, exaggerating anger and aggression. With enough time the effects can increase to the point that orders aren't listened to, rivalries explode, and eventually people who were supposed to be working together against it may even attack and kill each other. The meteor carrying this creature landed in the Middle East, kind of the exact worst spot for it.
It spent some time fighting the Iranian military before making any moves on the US bases that encircle that nation. It was using its deadliest ability in advance of its biggest fight. Any piece of the Regenerator severed from the main body in battle, as long as it's of sufficient size, will eventually grow into a clone of the original. It will even use this to remove parts of its own body, leave them behind, and later surround its enemy with its clones as back up. The severed sections will grow replacement parts to help ensure their survival, from eyes to temporary miniature legs.
Its other abilities include the ability to move at supersonic speeds for brief periods of time, surging forward to surprise an enemy with a rush attack or to evade an attack it doesn't want to take at the moment. With this flash forward running start it can leap into the air and fly for a brief period of time. It can spit a stream of potent acid, having come from a world of high acidity, this was more like a fish spitting water to knock insects out of the air in its home environment, but it's much more deadly on the earth. Finally even though it has a single eye, its vision is extremely advanced, reaching far into infrared and ultraviolet frequencies even as it sees the range of light visible to humans.
