Description
This is my latest piece, Adam. This is a 1/3 scale sculpture. Here in these photos you are seeing it in clay. Currently it is being bronzed and will be available in a limited edition of 15.Related content

The way he's not just holding himself, but gripping at himself, gives me the impression of deep anguish. The expression on his face speaks of guilt. Beautiful emotional expression, here.

It should stand next to the thinker of Auguste Rodin. It looks like THIS reflects our time problems, like "thinker" it's own. (I hope I expressed what I wanted in the right way) (bad english ^^")

By the way an excellent and really professional sculpture which describes allegorically the fall of the mankind and our miserable condition in "this valley of tears".
Adam's exposed to view neck and his ribs are a clear sign of vulnerability.
Furthermore the rough texture of his skin is very nice and
clean.
I can wait to see this bronzed

Michelangelo, Yes. When I visiting the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican I could appreciate his work very closely. The Judgement painted by Michelangelo's is awesome.
The Pietà by Michelangelo, dazzles all who have visited the Vatican.
When comparing your sculpture with Michelangelo I knew about who I spoke.

Yes, visiting the Sistine Chapel is a fantastic experience but there are always too many people to aprecciate it, isn't it true?
Have you ever seen Pietà Rondanini, the last Michelangelo's work, in Milan?
It is a very rough sculpture but I find it very touching. Jesus' body seems to melt into his Mother's one.
p.s. Yes, of course Art is Art although its nationality.
I was just saying because I think it's important be aware of
culturale heritage. In my country there aren't many funds for art and it's quite stressful :/

Absoultely stunning..... You don't see enough of these kind of sculptures now. So thoughtfully considered. The anatomical representation is simply divive (quite fitting for it's subject) and his position is nothing short of breathtaking. His expression and gestures really give the impression of a blasphemer. An beautifully sculpted and intense piece.
