Anybody can sculpt - yup.All you need is some aluminum wire, super sculpey (or preemo, or whatever polymer clay makes you happy), a few tools, some plumbers putty and of course - an oven! A toaster oven can be used if your sculpture is small enough or is made in parts.
I used some art from Lord Mesa to make this sculpt. I saw that cool ass Batman version he did online and had to sculpt it up. Here you see Batboy's head roughed in a sculpey preemo mix (I mix those two for strength sometimes). I twisted up some aluminum wire to make the little body armature and used the the plumbers putty to hold those wires together and rough in where the chest and crotch would be.
This will be a simple tutorial and not too involved so beginers can have fun giving sculpting a shot too.

I used a electric dremmel tool and a pair of pliers to hold 2 - 3 long aluminum wires. I locked the wire ends in the dremmel tip and pinched the other end with the pliers and turned on the dremmel slowly - as it spins it twists the wire into a nice braid. If you try this please wear plastic goggles to protect your eyes because the wires can pop out and hit you in the face from the torque of the dremmel if you're not careful. Hope that makes sense. The sculpt was about 5 inches tall I think, been a while since I looked at it.

wait, but like how do you get it so detailed? lol, everytime i try to sculpt, i try to get the basic shape, and try to make details, using my fingers and toothpicks and etc....but like, everything becomes so disproportioned, and like the overall shape changes, because of the pressure i apply.... is the super sculpey clay harder or something?

You can make a thinner version of your sculpture like a underframe and bake that so when you're building up the forms won't be so squishy. Sculpey allows you to do that - it's called prebaking. You can even finish off detailed areas and bake those to keep from mashing other areas of the sculpt as you work. There is also a firmer version of Super Sculpey that comes in the grey color...you may want to give that a try.

Hah - don't shy!!! It's all in the "making of" buddy - not how clean it is...some folks want to just see it get made and how "you" do it. That's the whole entertaining/learning aspect of a tutorial. Plus, I'm a neat freak with my sculpts...well most times anyway...LOL.
