My exams actually finished?....What is it? December 2012?.....OH WAIT. After time I'll have to fill my head with History and Geography. -_- What a WONDERFUL school year pasted....Rarity: But you have such LOVELY eyes, darling!

I don't how small I made Rarity's left front hoof and how massive I made Vinyl's mane...but at least the sparkles turned out nicely(now all we need is a 'Edward Cullen was here' sign above them).

Well, I use Photoshop CS5.
How I work: First I open the photo I took of the sketch I drew on paper, then right click on the Background and go to 'Layer from Background" then a window pops up and I click the "OK" located on the right(I don't bother with the name).
I do everything I need to do(the linearart, colouring etc) and then I make the background.
If I don't want a background I merge the layers where everything the characters I drew have(again, linearart, colouring etc) and delete every other layer.
Then I go to File>Save as>Format and I click on either the PNG or the GIF format(it depends on the situation-if it's a picture-PNG,if it's an animation-GIF. Also, never the JPEG/JPG format because it makes the background white instead of transperant like you're asking me).
And then everything's put on dA.
