It's so called panzer wrap, a tunic for self proppeled guns crews, in Feldgrau colour.

Haha thank you so much! You've been of much help! I'm just a huge fan of World War II reenactments, specifically interested in the 12th SS Hitlerjugend impression.

What unit does this group reenact as, per se the boy with the Panzer Wrap in Feldgrau and the boy in the M44 italian coveralls?

Well, it was a show, we were acting 12 SS HJ Division soldeirs at Capriquet airport.

Haha 12th SS ftw. As far as informational-wise, even some of the members out here in Washington, were wondering as well...was it rare or semi-common to have a young officer within the unit?

We dug up good info regarding young NCOs, but never were able to find info regarding young officers.

Most of CO officers were from LSAH , but obviously thet were yuong NCO's recruited from divisional ranks. Their life was quite short at the front more frequently...
