I really don't know why. I just liked the look of it. I guess I wanted to show that everything is delicate. The flowers, trees and the paper woman.

I like the way the colors are muted, and the arid ground.. in something that "should" be lush and vibrant. Like she is stunted somehow.. by sadness? This is emotionally evocative to me.

Haha I didn't go to the fair at all. I did drive around downtown Saturday night sippin on some segrams. Then we made our way up to the cemetary.

Very different and most unique style, looks almost like a painting on fabrics to me..nice idéa and contrast with the dried surface and her happily watering her lovely flowers, sun looks reeeaaalyyy strong, she sure needs a lots of water for them flowers to grow there

Yay! Another WIP sees the light!
It's a good title because that's what's she doing, right? she's definitely got the burton-esque surreal thing going on. I like how the ground is all cracked and dry and the part that she is watering is blooming with beautiful flowers...a nice contrast.
