I was so sad to see him missing from the trailer. I was sitting there at NYCC, gripping the edge of my seat..."Come on..show Iroh! Come on!"

..then nothing..

Until they show his face, I am gonna have to keep coming here for my Iroh fix

Wow, great pic. I like the shading a lot. Good work on this one as on the others.

I dunno, but I can't get myself to really like Iroh. For three simple reasons: (no offense before hand of cousre )

1. When Iroh grew up he should have realized his little brother's pain at the hands of Azulon, who obviously was not a "daddy". But Iroh didn't help his little brother like he later did for Zuko. This could also mean Iroh sees Zuko "only" as a refund for Lu Ten, which is pretty much .... ass-like.

2. If Iroh was that all-over-good, then why didn't he help the avatar in the first place?!

3. and most important: Iroh always tells everyone to get over their personal problems to do what's right. Like he told Zuko to let Appa free and help the avatar and so on. But when the time for Iroh came to do the right thing in ending the war he just wallowed in self-pity and let Ozai take the throne and the war continued.

So, on the whole Iroh isn't that all-good-awesomeness in person. To me he's kinda a little babbler.

Hey, have you seen the posts (if they're still up) on YouTube from Comicon, NY? They show clips of unaired Avatar episodes. They don't show what's happened to Iroh, though! Grah....I would like to know.

Anyways, I'm not sure about a whole solo episode for Iroh. I think that one filler episode, where he gave everyone advice but at the end, says he couldn't give his son advice when he needed it, was pretty powerful on it's own, even though it was just a moment. It depends how the writers wrote the episode, because they could go either way...either Angsty or really heart-wrenching. And we know Iroh isn't Angsty!

Anyways, as a writer, I'll shut up now, haha! Good job.
