Personality: Warm and friendly in most instances although that's changed slightly in the past few years where he's become slightly more withdrawn. He's a deeply spiritual man who's taken comfort in his faith since his change. As a Sihk, the obligation to protect has taken on a more immediate meaning since discovering the existence of werewolves.

Background: Born and raised in Pinner England, Manvir came from a family immigrants from Mohali, a city in the Indian state of Punjab. as he was growing up he spent most of his time out of school working in his family's corner shop and practicing the Sikh martial art of Gatka from his grandfather. He lost his right eye in a fight as a teenager when he and his mother were jumped by a mugger with a knife.

When he was older he decided to study abroad and came to the US to attend school at New York University School of Law, wanting to work in the criminal justice system. It was here where he met and married his wife Joanne.

After graduating he joined a law firm as a criminal defense attorney, doing well enough that he could move his wife and by that point, son Kahn to a new home in Manhattan. While his job payed well, he always found a greater satisfaction when working pro bono as he saw it as a way that he could give back to the city that had given him a life that he loved.

One night when coming back from meeting a client he took a shortcut back home that cut through some back alleys where he came across what he thought was a massive stray dog behind a restaurant. As he tried to slip around, the animal attacked him. Suffering several bites, he managed to beat the animal off and made his way home to clean his wounds, surprised to find that they had started to heal although he bandaged them up with the intention of seeing a doctor.

The week following attack was a full moon and to Manvir, the acts that occurred seemed to happen in some horrible nightmare. His body felt like it was ripping apart and it felt as if it was moving on it's own as he felt himself turning on everything that moved in front of him, including his wife and child.

That was a year ago and Manvir has since fled Manhattan for the anonymity that Elkhorn offered. He currently works as a clerk for a small general store as it was one of the few places that didn't ask too much information during hiring. He's still wanted for questioning in the killing of his family and currently has no intention of doing anything to bring attention to himself.

Since arriving in Elkhorn he's come to find out about the hidden world of werewolves and has decided that the only way to atone for his own actions is to protect the locals from attacks from others like him once he found out about the local Belekt pack. He can smell them on the nights when the urge to run through the forest is too strong to resist and he hasn't quite come to a decision on if forming bonds with other werewolves is worth the risk. He's considered approaching the Vale pack, but hasn't as of yet.

- As a practicing Sikh, Manvir always wears the five articles of faith:
Kesh (uncut hair, tied up and wrapped under his turban)
Kanga (wooden comb that holds up his hair)
Kachchhera (characteristic shorts ie underwear)
Kara (iron bracelet)
Kirpan (curved sword/dagger. Manvir wears a small ornamental kirpan under his clothing)

- He owns a talwar sword that he's used since he was a teenager to practice Gatka, although now he plans to put it to more practical use if he needs to.
