Description This is an update of an older deviation of mine. I wasn't sure how well this update would be received, so I decided to submit a new deviation.
The color scheme is more european compared to the original I guess. There are still things wrong with it, but I like the overall atmosphere much better. And I think the lighting is much more consistent in this version.
Thanks again for your critiques!

hey this pretty cool. keep up the good work. It looks like something out of a b title movie, which IS a compliment seeing as most people don't even achieve that. Go for the A title. Good one

ErikShoemaker In reply to augustok [2011-03-01 17:20:43 +0000 UTC]

haha well I do take it as a compliment. It's still a bit illustrative; I couldn't really imagine this image in a movie myself, either. Thanks a lot! You have a really cool gallery btw.

I'm not quite sure which version I prefer - they're both excellent in their own way. V1 seems to have sharper detail in it, while V2 is more atmospheric and subdued. I think on the whole V2 is better, but it seems to have lost a bit of the detail around the triforce.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ErikShoemaker In reply to the-boggyb [2011-02-21 08:40:21 +0000 UTC]

thanks a lot for your input. I agree, V2 lost some of its detail with all the fog I painted in, but I wanted to get rid off all the blending mistakes. That's why I like v2 better personally.
