Description
This tutorial was teaching the different methods of how to apply the base colors. The tutorial is a 2-parter so I wanted to make sure that I posted something for the first part even though it will likely look more complete for the second part.

One thing that I found very useful from this tutorial was I didn't understand the Lasso Tools as I had thought I did. I didn't realize how versatile they actually are.

Another thing that I really enjoyed learning was the Layer Merge option (Ctrl+E). I was very excited about it as I had a few pointless layers that I wanted to merge into the main layer. Finally I was able to clean up the Layers a bit.

It took me a bit longer to finish this tutorial than others, because I realized that my original line work for Destiny was very light. So, I went through the entire drawing and darkened all the lines before continuing with the tutorial. It took extra time, but I enjoyed it. I found it very relaxing.
