Viewing some small dove
All is in your power
To distort
Your eyes are cold as emptiness
Your mind is a deep well.
He is nothing more
Than a moldable clay
In your hands
Power, Innocence, Youth
Distortions of these small things
Your nightmare dreams to grant.
Yet …
His eyes still burn
Even when his voice is still
His eyes are lit with fire
And all that is in darkness fades.
Something calls his name
Something small and sweet …
He looks away
From you
From your small words
Recognizing distortion
Its black surface
Does not fade into the light
That is his heart.
Somewhere
A door breaks open
A small width
In the door
Of this cage
You have built;
Light blinds you
Finding your hands
Empty.

I know this is posted three times now, sort of, but I thought this pic looked more ominous than the other version. It was kind of an accident that happened while I was bored and then I wrote this poem. So. Ya know.

very intriguing piece.. like shampoo, it is curious as to what the shadowy person is up to..
the effect to this image is very nice, i much like this version opposed to the others you have posted.
over-all the atanomy is great and the colours are fasinating.

...Whoa. The different colors used to enlighten Yume are so gorgeous... so enhancing! At first I thought the darkness all around was hiding Cestus too much, but thinking about it twice... well... it actually nicely fits the character. "The manipulator hidden in the shadows", sort of. The light allows us to see just enough of him to figure out his evilness... but not too much to reveal it completely. Fascinating shadowplay.
