Description
Running through a stream bed to lose the hounds, but knowing that it's really too late. Knowing you're about to face the end, whatever that is ... There is a moment when you make a decision.I have had this image in my head forever. I finally got to the place where I was capable of creating it. About 9 hours on the drawing portion. 1 in Photoshop to tint a bit and adjust colors.

Holy crap, I can see her picking up the sword and making some serious hound-meat with the blade...but I think this is one of the coolest pictures you've ever done. The lyrics go well with it too but I don't like Hoobastank lol! That's a separate issue tho!

Wow, you know, I was hoping that that was what someone would see in this. A lot of viewers (both in person, in chat or online) have commented that it seems static, or that something seems missing, but I wanted very much to portray that moment when everything seems to be saying, "It's over, give up," but the hero decides that that's when the real fight begins.

Hmmm....true. I didn't really realize it WAS hooberstink until I saw that you noted it was. I've heard the song before but the lyrics just seemed to go really well with this picture. I hope you do more things like this.

This picture was literally in my head for years.
Maybe I can find some more songs like that one. I find music inspires most of my pieces in one way or another. It's the poetry of our generation.

If music is the poetry of our generation then we're worse off then I thought! lol...seriously tho, I use music to inspire me all the time. I can't draw without some of my favorites playing, so I understand what you mean. I also am really sick of having to move around so yeah, I know what kind of pain in the arse that can be. In the last year alone I have moved 4 times. Argh.

The print doesnt call to me, it seems off, or not complete. Its a nice print, yet its missing some element to pull one into it, to make one be in it also. like standing background art, but not the main show.

that's.. breath-taking.. great lyrics to go with this picture.. but this picture really speaks to me that only thing I think would have made this picture better its a small trail of blood behind her leading to wear she is sitting, having her perhaps holding a wound? That would ave been really cool.. but this picture.. wowo, the colors, the detail.. the outfit.. simply goregous and very professional.. AMAZING JOB!
