this is what ive been working on for about a month man trying to get the details right is a pain in the neck. but ive already fiberglass the shield and currently at the moment sanding down and making it look sexy. i cant wait to finish this thanks to my friends that help me along the way tsuyosa,inky,zoroko for giving me insight on creating this shield i cant wait to show you guys how it comes outRelated content

to make this certain one i used foam board as the base then craft foam for the siding and apoxie sculpt.
to make the curve you need for the twilight shield or any other....
i found a better way to make it when making your shield make sure you measure the shield to your body making a template. after words use foam insulation as a base to achieve the curve you can do a number of things :
1. sand it to the curve you want
2. add layers of card board like a cone pattern outwards to the inner or center most point of the shield.
from there use card stock to cover the card board from the the center point of like slices of pizza.
tape is most essential after this period covering the whole shield which in turn adds a layer of protection if you want to fiberglass or bondo with out worrying if the chemical are gonna destroy the shield.
