Where did you get the M249 from?

Okay. I've seen forender before and have downloaded a couple freebies from there.

yeah its not a bad place, but I doubt the legitimacy of the content. I recognize a lot of it from games!

At least the forender people stepped up in the DAZ/Poser world where hardly anyone else was in the area of firearm props.

yeah that's true. Most stores suck at firearms. I usually get them from freebie sites, rip them from games or make them myself

I'm kinda taking a break from DAZ 3D ( never used Microsmith's Poser) but have an interest in building my own props- especially firearms and maybe clothing outfits.

Smith Micro's Poser you mean, its a different beast. I like it but I'm used to it. so I am biased hehe. Making your own props, as in assembling them from existing models or actually modelling them from scratch?

Preferably making them from scratch.  Inside DAZ, I can make a cylinder, a circle, a square/rectangle, a taurus, and a plane from built in primitives.  Thats all of the modeling Ive ever done, other than apply a quick jpeg or .gif to the primitive.

check out either Blender (free, but weird) or Silo (not stupidly expensive). Hexagon was popular for a moment but not sure if its discontinued or not. I use 3DMax but that's like a MILLION bucks for a license. Its worth getting yourself into hardcore 3D modelling, it takes a bit of effort but doors start opening for you, you're much more free in your artistic expression, and you can even sell shit if you get good at it.

"You know, that guy is STILL staring at us..."

"Him, he's harmless. He's much to busy drooling and gripping his crotch..."

SAW is a real rip in the shorts to shoot, serious pain in the ass to clean though.
