Hello Everyone!This piece is called River Crossing. This is a personal painting done for the spirit of winter. I was inspired to make a companion piece for Red on Snow.

If you've ever watched "Melody Time" made back when Disney was good, there is one little scene where my mind always goes when I look at this. It has a girl in a dress on a river with cracking ice JUST like this. The little section is called "Once Upon a Winter Time. Here's a link for it. [link] Hope you watch it and enjoy it~!

On a totally random yet pseudo-related note, I was drawn to Samurai Jack because of how the cartoon characters meshed so well with such surreal backgrounds.
