I'm okay with him not being in the other TV shows, but I do wish he had been in Out of the Shadows instead of OMNUS! It seems like aside from the 87 series, my favorite Turtles verses are the movies, both old and new (although I did watch most of the 2003 series and was horrified and sickened by that Baxter's fates).

Atleast he got a happy ending in the fast forward season. I always forget omnus was even there. What was that dealio?
Say if they make a 3rd movie and Baxter's fate approches what do you think it'll be fly or cyborg?

True. But I still think the writers were sick to tear him apart piece by piece, oh gosh. And Tyler Perry said that if there is a third movie, they'll probably go the fly route. So my question is whether they'll have him basically stay the same in personality like the 2012 series or if he'll actually get fused with the fly and go insane like the 87 series. The latter approach definitely makes him more sympathetic, I think. Although I always rooted for the 2012 one to become human again and really hated the writers' tease that he decided he preferred being a fly when he did become human again!

But yeah good question. I always thought they'll use the ooze. I'm used to seeing chatacters getting mutated that way but either one is ok for me i'll just be stooked to see em.

tbh I found it funny that he was upset to be cured. Though it's ironic to 1987 or any era. But I agree the 80s and 03 were more sympathetic

They probably will use the ooze. I'd prefer a different route, or better yet, just keeping him human. But since he gets abused in nearly every version, I imagine there's not much hope of that.

I can sympathize with that! I remember how much I kept wanting the 2003 one to be put out of his misery when he kept suffering so much and it seemed like there was no end in sight. It's strange that a lot of people don't like 2012 Baxter becoming human again. I will always root for all Baxters to be able to be human/normal.

Yeah, it seemed like a deliberate "Screw anyone who wanted to see him human again! We'll let you have that, but he still won't be happy, heh heh." The movie Baxter definitely has it easy thus far. And if you've seen the old 90's movies, Professor Perry in the second film was supposed to be Baxter, but Eastman and Laird refused. They just didn't want Baxter good. They also insisted he couldn't be good in the 87 series. But Professor Perry still looks like 87 Baxter and has some of his speech pattern, so he's probably the closest we'll ever get to having an official Baxter who's good and a Turtles ally.

Nothing happened to him in the out of the shadows game (2013) And his IDW counterpart is kinda good too and still human. infact IDW, Archies comics, Tmnt coming out of their shells, 2k13 game, and movie are the only times he doesn't mutate or cybernize. But same on human again Bax! I know it's dumb imagination but I have an OC/love interest named Claddia that cures him. Both 1987 & 2003.

meh I'm thinking the Mutagen or something else made him upset. he was pretty non sane in his recent mutant episodes and becoming more fly like. (forshadow much) I also have a dumb theory he was happy but just embarrassed or hated it was the turtles that cured him and wanted to keep up his masculinity.

Wow, I didn't know he was even in Coming Out of Their Shells. What happens to him in that? I knew he stayed human in IDW and Archie, but I didn't know he was kind of good in IDW. The artwork that turns up of him certainly makes him look sinister, at least. You're certainly not the only person to create a romantic OC to save a character. That's never been my bag, as I prefer family and friendships, but you have a lot of company.

That is pretty heartbreaking then. But I like your theory! That could be possible.

Cool! You've got some very interesting facts there. Don't suppose you know who really voiced Z? That's one of those mysteries you mentioned. I've found three voice possibilities listed on various sites: Peter Renady, Pat Fraley, and Townsend Coleman. I kind of think it's Townsend in at least the latter two episodes with him, but I'm not sure.

Yes, I love him as an ally.

Eh nothing in coming out of their shells.
Shredder bossed him around like usual but didn't get physically hurt. He was good in that era. Yep infact IDW seems to be the most like since he has more luck and doesn't get pushed around by nobody. infact he pushes others around. He is as sinister as you say he is but I still love him. I know I just noticed there weren't Baxter ones and plus the thought of a lady scientist oc was on my mind so I merged the ideas. Yeah seeing Baxter's behavior in wanting to go full insect meant he was slowly growing full fly like 87 and like Slash, Karai and other characters the Mutagen affected his brain. And or seeing his personality in human episodes he didn't want to be nice to the turtles because of his grudge with them. And I actually do know Z's calming voice. It is Townsend Coleman.

Ahh. Yeah, the Wiki lists him, but TV.com lists Pat Fraley and IMDB.com lists Peter Renady. And the Wiki is all mixed up saying the season 7 episode is an alternate idea about Z instead of realizing that there's no contradiction with the season 4 episode. Unless someone fixed that. I'd be disinclined to believe the Wiki because of its mixed-up information, except that you're right, using voice-listening it really does sound like Townsend Coleman.

I ended up watching most of it, LOL. I found it delightfully cheesy. Was a little troubled by how Baxter seemed more like a generic mad scientist, though.
