Yes, much fun was made of Goku having zero sex drive early in the series.

Not just that, but the fact that he couldn't tell whether somebody was a boy or a girl, and had to check to see.  He was such a naive little boy, and he still just as naive as an adult.

It's a shame I was never allowed to watch Dragon Ball/Z/GT (and Pokémon, for that matter) as a kid, even when everybody else was.  I probably would have enjoyed it.  Now I have to make up for lost time.  Hundreds of episodes to catch up on.  I don't know if I can do it!

Yeah, I liked the pre-Z (i.e. pre-Saiyan) stories the best--they had more humor and less slooooow motion. Seriously, it took what, seven or eight episodes to cover the "five minutes" before Namek exploded?
