I really like the gentle, androgyne look of your mer...person, here. Between the diametrically opposed ancient Middle-Eastern and Greek traditions of the gendered sea and earth deities, this strikes a lovely balance, with a calming hint of susurrant movement as well.

I feel like you've completely caught the motion of this scene in a single second of absolute stillness (does that even make sense? XD Pfft...).
It's just that... the serenity of the image... it's all there. As if it's still caught in the tangles of anemones tickling that fish, reaching out for the boy/girl (sorry... not good at telling people's genders apart...). As if you've caught the person in that exact frame of time as their head moves around to steal a glimpse. Everything in this image feels so alive--- from the shadows, to the bubbles, and the expressions on their faces. Alive, but still, suspended in a single scenario.
It never fails to amaze me how rather ethereal your works are. Lovely as always~
