Description
Three lorikeets in the flight at the Birmingham Zoo.I'm not happy with the background. I think it is too busy and distracts from the birds.

I think it is grape vines for the loris to play on. We had a great time that day feeding them.

They are very friendly birds especially the rainbow lorikeets

I've always found them friendly. I've never had one for a pet. I stay away from squirters (necter feeders). They are too messy.

I prefer them in a tree as well. I enjoy our native birds very much. There are some beautiful ones. My grandfather had a budge and I've been hooked on exotic birds my whole life. For several years I raised parrots for fun. I try to provide the best home I can for them. One of my parrots is a rescue from a pet store. No one wanted it due to a physical handicap and the owner was going to put it down.
Willow is a similar bird. She is physically fine, but the college student who owned her was moving away and couldn't keep her any more. That is how I got her. I wouldn't have her otherwise.
My last parrot is one I raised years ago and kept.
