Is there some way I can get the reader to show something other than the latest 10 items in the RSS feed? E.g. can I set it to show items 11-20?
I would ideally like to put this on page 2, 3. etc.
am using this daily for RSS, the minimal look is perfect and haven't been able to find anything quite similar. thanks very much.

But i would want a refresh rate of 1 day for the image displayer. Is that possible?

Hi, I am a returning user of Rainmeter and I love these skins! Is there a way I can dock them to the far right of my screen? There seems to be an invisible border around them so I cannot place them further than 1208 and I need them at 1280? My screen resolution is set to 1600x900. Thanks in advance

Scroll down to the [Styles] section and under [TextStyles] you'll see something like W=300 and H=16. That's where you can change the width and height of the feed items.

Hey, I really like this rss reader its the best one with the best code. I do have one question though, is there a way to disable the secondary text that comes up when scrolling over the rss feeds? not the change in link color but the bubble text that comes up?

Scroll down to the [ Feed Items ] section and under each of the feed items (Item1-Item10) you'll see a line that says somethin like ToolTipText=#Item1Title#. Just delete those lines and the tooltip won't pop up when you hover over the feed items.

Go to the [Image] section and add PreserveAspectRatio=1 at the end of it so it looks like this:

MeasureName=Viewer
Meter=IMAGE
X=51
Y=40
W=316
H=178
PreserveAspectRatio=1
Save & refresh the skin and that should do it for you.

Open the UNITY Slideshow & Feed Reader skin folder, then go to the @Resources folder, and open the file UserVariables.inc with a notepad/text editor.
For each of your 5 feed urls, you should see something like this: UpdateRate1=1800
For all 5 of the UpdateRate, change the value to -1 so it'll look like this: UpdateRate1=-1
That should disable the auto scroll.

Of course! That's the whole purpose of the slideshow skin lol. Go to the UNITY Slideshow & Feed Reader folder, then to the @Resources folder, and you'll see a folder named Preview. Replace the images in there with your images and refresh the skin.

Sorry, I didn't even know what GDeskTunes was until I looked it up just now lol. You can try asking LukasKokoska or neiio . They're probably one of the first ones I'd go to for real customization/design related stuff. Very nice and friendly peeps.

How would I add a 6th rss feed? I added on in the options and created a new one in the skin, but still no luck

I don't know what you've done so far but you need to add/change these 4 things:
1.) UserVariables.inc
• Open UserVariables.inc in the @Resources folder and add this:
» CustomTitle6=
» URL6=
» UpdateRate6=
2.) UNITY Feed Reader - Dark/Light.ini
• Open one of the main INI files and under the section [ Feed Measures ], copy & paste this:
[MeasureFeed6]
Measure=Plugin
Plugin=WebParser
Url=#URL6#
RegExp=(?siU)(.*)$
Substitute=#WebParserSubstitute#
FinishAction=[!CommandMeasure "MeasureReader" "Show(6)"]
UpdateRate=#UpdateRate6#
3.) UNITY Feed Reader - Dark/Light.ini (Part 2)
• Under [ LUA FeedReader ], look for MeasureName and add MeasureFeed6 so it'll look like this:
» MeasureName=MeasureFeed|MeasureFeed2|MeasureFeed3|MeasureFeed4|MeasureFeed5|MeasureFeed6
4.) FeedReader.lua
• Open FeedReader.lua with a notepad or whatever other text editor you use. Under -- SET THE CUSTOM TITLES, you should see "for f = 1,5 do"
» Change the 5 to 6 so it says "for f = 1,6 do"
After you've done these 4 things, you should be good to go.
