Looks hella awesome. Wouldn't the area in the sword bit be a bit brighter? owo

Possibly, I'm not too good at special effects in SAI.

Oooh. That's okay. Though, it can be fun to mess around with the Layer Modes.
oAo Have you tried Luminosity Mode?

Nope, mostly use multiply and glow.

Luminosity Mode can help with the glow, maybe brighter than glow.
Maybe that could help. oAo Like... using a Luminosity mode layer on top of colored ones can do the trick... or on top of the line art, if you don't mind the line art getting some brightness on it. If you use Overlay Mode, it can make some parts in the colors you used on that layer. The combination of Overlay and Luminosity is pretty awesome.

I kind of abused multiple layers of the modes on this one if it helps: drive.google.com/open?id=0BxFU…
And a little on this one: drive.google.com/open?id=0BxFU…

orz Sorry that they're not Megaman drawings.... And that I went on about the modes. ヽ(οΌ›β–½οΌ›)γƒŽ

It's always good to experiment. ovo b That's how I found out the Overlay mode can make the lines be colored.

And this is all by mouse? Dayum. It must have taken a lot of patience to do this.

Not when you're used to it.

Ah, really? owo What's the usual time it takes to draw a piece for you now?
Any thoughts of getting a tablet, though?

Depends on how much detail I put into it. Rough drafts don't take very long can vary from anything from 15 mins to and hour. It's usually cleaning up and drawing details that take the longest. I bought a intuous A4 years ago but I can never get used to it. Might buy a smaller tablet though.

That's pretty cool. I think I can relate on the cleaning and detailing parts. Same with the coloring as well?

Oooh. I recommend on getting a refurbished type. Cheaper and works really well. I have this one -> www.amazon.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Ca…
