BELGARIAD WEEK DAY THREE!Theme: Crossover
It's Belgariad x Harry Potter x Lord of the Rings.
(I almost did Belgariad x Vlad Taltos, but no one really reads those.)
So, it's Harry and Belgarath, Garion and Gandalf, and Frodo and Dumbledore if you couldn't guess that.
I could have done a switching around of Voldemort, Torak, and Sauron, but I decided that it would be much more lulz-y if I just switched the bearded old sorcerors.

Add in Luke and Obi-Wan and you probably would break the universe when people started to realize that it's all the same story, and that it's immensely dangerous to be the Wise Old Mentor-Man. I'm not sure just how Belgarath cheated inevitable death to steel his young protege for the challenge to come, but he probably had loaded die on hand and challenged Death to a game.
Of all of the very, very excellent details, I think my favorite is beaming-tiny-Frodo with Dobby-like socks.
