Description Here she is, in living color. I increased the length of the canvas to give the image more length and lend a better feel of freefall. Something told me as I was laying down the flat colors that the lighting should come from below. I think it works out and ups the dramatic ante a notch or two... Enjoy, deviants!

The decision to do the light from the bottom like that is sooooo perfect... works with her expression, she reminds me of a super girl jumping into the chaos to kick some ass... and I liiiiike it

Very well done! I love the pose, and in this sorta pose, i can never figure out where to put the legs, and they always look funny to me. You got'em perfect here. I try to do the knee up thing, but it usually ends up being too high, or i end up drawing the foot going down just as far as the other one. Maybe i can learn something from this, which is cool, hehe!

Hey Squid, thanks for the compliments. Talk about an awesome comment! She came out of my pencil in a time when I was just kinda searching for a new pose or a different look. I had been practicing some VERY rough sketches of women floating and falling and then I left that alone for a lil while. Then she came along and I got so far, and then I couldn't finish her. Couldn't decide on the left hand, decided at the last minute to put a bra/bustierre on under the sheer top, and then went with it. I'm glad she came out well. Besides, how cool is it that MY art can inform the mighty Squidman, master of the foot!
