Wasn't sure which catagory to put this under, as there are numerous 3d elements in it, but an awful lot of painting as well.Very pleased with this one...a lot of work, quite a bit of frustration with hardware failings which led to some working methods I hadn't tried before on such a scale, and quite a few new skills and techniques learned. I really hope people like it as much as I do.
Poser for the figure set up, Cinema 4d for the scene set up and rendering, Photoshop for the compositing and painting.

Normally I don't touch Poser stuff, because by default it looks lifeless and dull to me.
You, however, seem to realize how to render a natural pose, and you've put it in a gorgeous background on top of that!

I dunno, I'd have liked to see a bit more atmosphere in this piece from the pose of the woman. A more tense pose would just add that little bit of spark I feel this lacking.
However, it really is a beautiful deice in terms of composition; kudos.

Her sword looks a little long for her, but very well done.
The world she inhabits is almost a twilight lit world. very well done.

Simply put, this is fantastic work. The character looks like something out of a fantasy novel (Kitiara from Dragonlance, in particular), and it's spectacular how well the 3D effects came out. The attention to detail is absurdly well done.

It's got a great "real fantasy" feeling 'bout it, if you get what I mean.
I love that it's 3D but doesn't have that computer game feel to it, I mean, if I want that stuff I'll just download official game wallpapers. xD
