forgot to put this here, oops :''D1987 April was kind of a "Ideal woman figure" of mine with Jessica Rabbit... Which may has something to do with my low self-esteem...
But because 87-TMNT is holy and I hate to compare it with new ones, I rather not do it this time either. For me April O'Neil will always be Channel 6-reporter X3 (wait, this isn't suppose to be part of childhood of someone in my age??)
2003 April.. I never found her very interesting character, I don't know why. Also I don't like her character design very much...
As a child I thought that she was really annoying, because of her Finnish voice actor DX
I like how they made 2012 April teenager. In 2k3 series I didn't much see the "teenage"-part in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now when they look and act more like actual teens, it's only logical that they hang out with someone of their age. I like her personality and looks too.

I'd love it if the 2003 and 1997 Aprils appeared in the current series. Her 'aunts', maybe - One a TV journalist and the other a police forensic scientist. She's trying to keep her double-life secret from them but they're good at ferreting out secrets!

They all look beautiful, but I prefer the one on the far left, the one from the 80's cartoon. She is the one that I remember the most.

Why does April keep getting younger every new series?
In 87, she's an adult, then 03 made her a late teen. 12 made her a high schooler.

I grew up watching THE RIGHT April, os tv serie 1987 and had a good time.

1987~ she's cute/sexy and feisty considering she gets kidnapped every episode
2003~ she awesome! Hot and cool and doesn't get kidnapped!
2012~ bossy, a bit Mary su-ish but overall she's kind and adorable!

Out of all three I found the 2003 April to be the most interesting. I like how she's tech savvy and doesn't need rescuing every 5 seconds. The 80s April, while a good character, is a little too much like Lois Lane.

Personally the reasons I don't like her are:
She was selfish because she would only help the turtles IF they helped her make a story!
She ONLY cared about her job
She got kidnapped all the time, her main purpose was to be the turtles Princess Peach
She was very whiny, especially about her job
She was like the "idle woman" she wore a jumpsuit that unzipped so that we could see her boobs 
And most guys who grew up with the 1987 turtles (now I don't mean all) would care about her "sexiness and what not" especially her breasts..

2003 April was probably the most "Useful" April in the sense that she was a scientist and could rival Donatello in operating machines.
However, I personally find 2012 April to be the most interesting in terms of character development and storyline.
But the 80's April was definitely the prettiest April imo! She also had a great sense of humor too. :3
So yeah as you can see I liked all Aprils but in different ways! XD

When I first heard of the teenage April in the 2012 version, I immediately thought of the kids from Transformers Prime. I figured if she was a mix of all three, she could've been the best April of all.
