Physical Description: Linette is a tall, fit wolf with long features and relatively short fur. She has large, round eyes, giving her an appearance of doe-like innocence. Her muzzle is slender, her nose ever so slightly crooked in a way that makes her look more endearing than anything else. Her ears are perked and small, somewhere between sharp and rounded, often swiveling around in curiosity. Elegant and swanlike, her neck is covered by a thick ruff of fur. This is the only place on her body where the fur seems long, making her look a bit like a capuchine pigeon. The rest of her fur is on the shorter side, not hairless but not as fluffy as your average wolf. Linette’s legs are her longest feature. A bit disproportional compared to her body, they are tall and stilt-like. She’s graceful and fast on them, not as clumsy as one might expect. Her tail is often carried stiffly behind her, waving proudly. She has a naturally thin body type and doesn’t gain weight easily, no matter how much she eats, but what weight she does have is all muscle. Her teeth and claws are sharp and large. Her fur is fairly stiff and rigid, slightly less so on her neck. She is beginning to grow into her looks.

Fierce /  Relentless /  Protective
One of Linette’s only actual motivations in life is to protect her pack. She isn't driven by much, often being quite unwilling to do anything that she doesn't find enjoyable, but the little pup goes out if her way to watch out for those she is loyal to. She often does this by staying up until ungodly hours in the morning, dutifully keeping watch for danger. Is something were to happen, Linette is unrelenting and fearsome in combat situations. Even in playfights, she is a ruthless opponent and does not surrender by any means. This carries over to the rest of her life, with even verbal arguments turning surprisingly harsh. Though she doesn't do something just for the sake of competition, if challenged in any way Linette will not back down.

Reckless /  Impulsive /  Thrill seeker
While getting her to do chores is next to impossible, Linette would throw herself into a waterfall just for the adrenaline rush without hesitation. She rarely plans things, believing that acting on a whim isn’t really that bad. In hunts or battle, it can make it harder for the opponent to predict your movements. As far as fun activities go, nothing’s more fun that a surprise! She’ll do anything dangerous or risky, loving how it makes her feel alive. Most of her pack -- especially Llyr and Adelaide -- hopes she grows out of this, or at least develops some kind of common sense. For the time being, Linette is an adventurous adrenaline junkie with no sign of changing.

Supportive /  Dependable /  Stoical
Despite her envious, reckless, and fierce temper, Linette is as supportive as she can be. She’s more than happy to be a shoulder to lean on for anyone that needs it, even if they wouldn’t do the same for her. She goes out of her way to try and make things easier for her friends, family, and even complete strangers sometimes. She can always be trusted to keep a secret or follow through with a task, no matter how dangerous. In an effort to stay strong so others can count on her, Linette often bottles up her own sadness instead of letting on that she’s in distress. She doesn’t let herself cry, and will either go completely silent when sad or lash out at others around her.

Jealous /  Selfish /  Self-critical
Though her her generous, supportive front hides it well, deep down Linette is extremely selfish and jealous. She wants to rule the world, be the best, and have the best. Whenever she can get away with it, she takes whatever she can for herself, whether it’s attention, food, or little items. This being so, her inner critic is very harsh, especially about this. She tries to suppress her selfishness as much as possible, instead being there and giving to others.

Pre-group History: Linette and her sister Adelaide were born to a pair of loners. Their father, a wolf named Seisyll, was exiled from the pack of Stonecreek after failing his trial. Seisyll met and fell in love with a sweet she-wolf named Ellie. The two had pups much later than Seisyll’s siblings Brannus and Lore, so his pups are younger than the other siblings’. In a tragic twist of fate, Ellie died in childbirth, leaving Seisyll with two unhealthy newborns. When the earth and land around them began dying, Seisyll became very ill and neared death. He hoped he could give his children a better future, and thus approached Stonecreek where Llyr met him. He told Llyr to take his daughters and care for them. Llyr agreed, but plead for his brother to come with them on the Great Journey. To his dismay, Seisyll refused, knowing he would die soon. Seisyll traveled to Ellie’s grave where, he died from illness and starvation, happy knowing his kids will be taken care of by Llyr and the rest of Stonecreek.

Linette was only four and a half months old at this time. The only family she had left was Adelaide, her uncle Llyr, and five elder cousins. Of course, this rattled her. She became very clingy to Adelaide and almost dismissive of Llyr, the wolf she viewed as someone trying to replace her father. Her poor father, who had raised her and her sister all on his own for so many months despite the grief eating away at him. Though she was often sad towards the beginning of the journey, she never shed a tear.

Surprisingly enough, it only took about a month for Linette to begin perking up and acting like a normal pup. By the time she was six months old, she was playing around with her sister as if nothing had ever gone wrong, Sometimes the large number of wolves in the pack makes her nervous and she still holds Llyr at arm’s length, but overall she’s adjusted quite well. Stonecreek expects great things from this little powderpuff.
