yeah, it does look like a walking underwater camera. great job too, maybe the lens should look more like a camera lens (more curved) but looks kickass otherwise, +fav

Excellent robot design. It's simplicity makes it really cute. I love the porportions, it looks curious and yet determinetd at the same time. You could definatley add do it, particuarly the base that supports the lense. prehaps some impressions, or a partially black exterior extruidng from it. Either way your creation rocks!
Its sad that someone wanted to take it from thier own, but the have nothing on you. At least you knnow your stuff is so good some loser felt the need lie to himself and try to get appriciation and recognition with your work. Whats great about renders is all he can take is copies of your screen shot. He doesnt have the real work. *heh*

I like this little guy a lot.. its a very SIMPLE, functional, beautiful design. It has the equipment for task, it has its method of locomotion, and NOT MUCH ELSE, which is efficient.. a designers purpose and a damn good example. I like the whole thing.. big, stable feet, simple legs.. although they look a little small, but I dont guess a camera and hard drive is all that heavy.. they do look damn eye pleasing though. yea, its a damn good design, and well. .. duh, the render is good.

mind if I ask you a question? How do you make a such room or enviroment? all white I mean with some minimal of shadow from the objects? I've been trying to make such and enviroment for a project I'm working on, but I haven't quite managed it without making the object it self stand in complete darkness or lightness. (I'm using 3dstudio max by the way. I'm not sure that's what you use, but wouldn't the app you are using have some general simularity?)

wow thats nice! i think you shuld give it a matte finish look, add a little noise to the bump maps or eomthing and make the size of the nosie small and it'll have that nice matte look

nice but there's definitely details lacking in the black aspects. Not the lense though. Great job on reflections. But polished black would at least reflect a lightsource not to mention other lighter components. Its also hard to see the deatils at 1600 resolution, so if they are there then disregard my comment.

I'd much rather have an MMU shine my shoes than a crappy AIBO.. Maybe you've got something here though.. It could make an excellent girls locker room spy camera. It's cute enough and it's got a sa-weet telephoto lens on it. *wink wink* I think that there should be at least 20 of these in every girls dorm room and naked sleepover pillow fight. Shall I contact the pope for you and start shipping them immediately? We could be rich! I say "we" because it was my idea to market them for the sole purpose of spying on naked women.. So I'd say that I get 78% of the profits? Fair enough.
