Description
Station 2 is in Southern City of Sheridan. Station 2 is also the Wildland Specialty Station. Station 2 responds out of it's first due area to assist station 7 when needed.
  Engine 2 is a 2008/2021 Spartan Type 1 Engine. This unit has a 1250 gallon tank. Engine 2 responds to calls on the South End of Sheridan and responds to the mines and the rural towns in Northern Sheridan County . Engine 5 is set up with five hose beds: one with 1000' of 5" large diameter supply hose, two with 300' of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose, and two with 300' of 1 3/4" attack hose. In addition to its hosebeds, Engine Fourteen also carries two 150' preconnected 1 3/4" crosslays, one 100' preconnected bumper tray line of 1 3/4" attack hose, two 8' segments of 5" hard suction hoses, two 25' segments of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose in the engineers compartment, two 50' rolls of 2 1/2" supply/attack hose with one of the rolls preconnected to a blitz fire nozzle for rapid deployment, one 150' high rise pack of 1 3/4" attack hose.. Engine Fourteen also carries two sets of forcible entry tools, one 14' roof ladder, one 24' extension ladder, one 10' collapsible attic ladder, two pike poles, one roof hook, one trash hook, two dry chemical extinguishers, one pressurized water extinguisher, four spare SCBA bottles,One Set of hydrant tools, hose adapters and nozzles, one 300' bag of life safety rope, two 150' lengths of utility rope, four rolls of fire scene tape, cribbing, battery powered extrication equipment, spare batteries for the extrication equipment, one salvage cover, two bags of quick absorbent, one wide mouth shovel, one push broom (disassembled for transport), one bolt cutter, one K-12 saw, one chainsaw, one water rescue dry suit, five collapsible traffic cones, ten road flares, 4 gas monitoring devices, a thermal imaging camera,one decon kit, one mobile data terminal, county map books, station area pre plan books, county wide hazard pre plan books, a Medtronic Monitor, ALS Jump Bag, O2 jump Bag. This engine has a 500 gal tank 750 gpm pump.Features the ability to Pump and Roll with a spray nozzle, increased cabinet space,and EMS compartments in the cab which carries bls gear. Other features include rush 5 also has 600' of 1" Forestry Attack hose 300' of 3" Supply/Attack Hose, and 300' of 5" Large Diameter Supply Hose. One 200' preconnected 1" crosslay, Two 150' preconnected 1" hose reels,Two 8' segments of 6" Hard Suction Hose. Brush 223 also carries 5 packs of progressive hose lays.Bladder Packs, misc ground ladders Equipment, Tools on this unit are 2 Combi tools,2 Palskis, 3 Shovels, 1 Rhino,Misc Struture handtools 1 chainsaw with extra oil gas mix, Founder Plaskian, Mark 3 Pump, Hard Suction for portable pumps,Jaws of Life, Ammo cans for national deployment with nozles,adaptors,flagging, 4 SCBA's with 4 extra bottles,Drip torch.Bush 5 also has a gear rack on top for the Wildland Teams Gear during deployments. Also on this unit is extra PPE and Fires Shelter.

Medical Service 222 (MS 222) is a 2019 Ford F550/Green Mountain Ambulance. MS 222 is located at Station 2 in Western City of Sheridan. This unit rotates calls with the other Ambulances in the Sheridan Area. This unit  carries one hydraulic striker stretcher, two long backboards, one scoop stretcher, one stair chair, one m122 oxygen cylinder, one pediatric kit, one suction kit, immobilization equipment, one KED kit, airway management supplies, IV supplies, various medications, one lifepak, one ALS jump bag, one BLS jump bag, one oxygen jump bag, trauma supplies, one maternity kit, one dry chemical extinguisher, one set of forcible entry tools, five collapsible traffic cones, ten road flares, one decon kit, two SCBA packs, one thermal imaging camera, one mobile data terminal, county map books, station area pre plan books, county wide hazard pre plan books, and the crews structural PPE. Staffing; 1 FF/EMT Basic or Intermediate and 1 FF/EMT Intermediate or Medic when staffing available.
  Tender 2 is a 2016 International/HME Wolf Tender. This unit has a 2000 gallon tank with 750 gpm pump. Tender 2 also has 500 feet of 5 inch hose 500 feet of 2 1/2 inch hose. It also carries 2 SCBA's, Hose adapters, a float a pump, a porta tank and 1 10 inch section of hard suction hose. This is a BLS unit. Staffing; 1 off of the engine or recalled staff.
  Utility 2 is a 2019 Ford F 550/Unit 1 custom utility. This unit is used mainly for the crews to go run errands or to haul hoses back from fires. In the Summer it is outfitted with a Skid unit and wildland tools. This unit also carries technical rescue gear,and also has 2 SCBA Packs and BLS Jump Bag, 2 back boards and 1 stokes basket.
