Description
The CSV Rainier, a converted Everest class Dreadnought by Cerberus together with her squadrons of Oculus fighter drones.
In 2161, the SSV Rainier was the fourth Everest class Dreadnought of the Systems Alliance in construction, however, it should never be completed. Shortly after the First Contact War with the Turians, the Systems Alliance joined the galactic society as a Council associate race and signed the Treaty of Farixen, a peacekeeping agreement which limited the number of Dreadnoughts each species may own. At that time, Humans were allowed to built 8 Dreadnoughts. Already possessing three Everest class Dreadnoughts, the Systems Alliance reconsider the completion of the Rainier because it was already outdated and the construction of the brand new Kilimanjaro class Dreadnoughts was preferred instead.
In 2163, the half finished spaceframe was stored in a surplus bunker to strip the components for other ships.
A couple years later, the para-military organisation Cerberus, always on the look to strengthen humankind, stumbled over the Rainier. Cerberus has wealthy sympathizers within the Alliance military-industrial complex, and with these help they were able to steal the ship and transport it to a hidden base near the Titan Nebula outside of Alliance or Citadel space. Cerberus had a reliable income running up to several billion credits per year, so it could step by step rebuild and upgrade the ship during the following years.
Cerberus Engineers added two wings to the main hull to add a second line of broadside cannons. They also replaced the outdated ships engines with modern ones and largen up the aft shuttlebay which is now able to hold a small frigate starship.
With the gained information from the Collectors, Cerberus were able to developed a handfull reversed engineered collector tech to integrated into the Rainier, such as a prototype particle beam or squadrons of remote controlled Oculus drones.
In 2175 the CSV Rainier acts as a mobile base and command ship for Cerberus troops.

Man, while I love human ships on Mass Effect, I can't help but feel they look fragile. Like, compared to a Halo ship, a Battlestar, an Aurora battleship, or some Star Wars ships, they look poorly armored and lacking dorsal and ventral weapons.

Capture this vessel for the Systems Alliance !
Or, failing that, blast it into space dust with Thanix cannonsΒ

From what i know about this ship is, that the commander (and his Cerberus cell) leave Cerberus when the Illusive Man experiment with Reaper tech (creating Cerberus Husk soldiers etc). The Cerberus Cell goes rogue and later contribute to the Crucible project. The Rainier included.

I love it. You have such great idea. Like Omega class destroyers from B5 enhanced with Shadow tech.

Damn, that's nice! I has blown up the Collectors' Base, but still, I was disappointed by the fact that Cerberus made only adjutants in ME3. With their resources? Really? This wonderful picture opes a great additional storyline! Great job! Keep it up!

Thanks!
I had blown up the station too in my Paragon playtrough. But as Renegade i gave it to Cerberus and in the endfight on the Cronos Station, the Cerberus troops were stronger and more numerous. Also, Cerberus were able to retrieve the whole Proto Reaper we fight at the end of ME2.

I really like how plausible this is, it's kind of like this ship would belong to the "Section 31" type elites of Cerberus

Thank you very much!
Yep, the comparison of Cerberus to Section 31 is very matching.
