Mass Effect Fanart. Kalros vs Reaper Destroyer.One of the Wow moments in Mass Effect 3.
Kalros, the mother of all Tresher Maws, is summoned to attack a Reaper Destroyer that is guarding the Shroud. Shepard activates two maw hammers that pound the ground to call her, and she responds in the way her territorial instincts tell her. She attacks and defeats the Destroyer by coiling around it and pulling it into the ground, clearing the path to the Shroud for Shepard.

This must be your interpretation of the fight because I don't remember the reaper kicking or grabbing Kalros with its leg.

In comparision to the reaper destroyer Kalros must be almost dreadnougth size. Thats agiant worm! Next "tremors" film must feature her.

The Title is a quote from the Series "Babylon 5". I found it very appropriate for this Mass Effect scene.

Hmm, its only a Destroyer class Reaper, one of the weakest Reaper troops. The Quarians shoot one of them down, and Shepard kill one of them (a variant of the Destroyer) with the Cain/Mini-Nuke on Earth. Another one were killed by the Thanix Rockets in the End-fight. In contrast to the large Reapers they are not so scary. That's why I think the forces ratio fits. One the one hand we have a nearly 350 m small reaper, on the other hand we have a 3 km long Tresher Maw. The Maw have enough power to crush the Reaper.
Reaper are powerful obviously, but only if they can be protected by shields and barriers from enemy fire. Kalros use a different type of power.
At least that is only my view of things.

yep you are right with scales of reapers and those other kills but that weaknes to Kalros was exactly my point....Maw used raw kinetic power.....and reaper looked completly non rezistant to it....during a nuclear explosion you unsleash extreme amount of kinetic power, its not lazor or plasma or any thing like that its just simply chain reaction on molecular basis witch technicaly turns uranium and all things around into huge expanding ball of heat gas....when you dont count huge areaΒ EMP pulse and crazyΒ temperatures vaporazing things on molecuar basis its stillΒ just a raw huge amount of kinetic power witch raze all stuff in milles away...So kineticΒ power of nuclear weapon on impact zone is same type power as Maw just billion times stronger
But yeye its just a game and great game no hatret in that...just dont like this scene cus its start NER alarm in my head

As a Sole Survivor, this scene was pretty cool for me, as my two greatest fears took each other out. It was very cathartic.
